A downloadable Godot add-on

I've participated in Pokemon fan game projects in the past, and in doing so I've noticed two things. One is that there don't seem to be any dedicated tools for Godot, another is that they're usually limited to a 2D GBA style games. This project is meant to change both. I want to challenge the limits of a Pokemon fan game engine and, not only include the tools for the features of classic games, but to also expand upon them and some new games as well. I wish to include following Pokemon, riding Pokemon, and visible encounters on the field, and to expand upon these features. We won't be doing a fully 3D game, though. To save on resources and time, it'll be 2D characters with a 3D world with few exceptions. If this sounds like a project you're interested in, whether as a fan or developer, then feel free to join. - https://discord.gg/wBs7kKuTsM

We need -

  • Programmers: Either knows GDScript or is willing and able to learn.
  • Artists: Pixel Art, Textures, Menu Borders, etc.
  • 3D Modelers: Mostly for environments like houses and rocks.
  • Game Designers: To make a game maker, it's good to have someone who knows what makes a good game.
  • Mappers: We're making 3D map editors, so if you have experience making tile maps, your skills will be applicable here to make sample maps.
  • Project Managers: A good project needs a good planner to organize things.
  • Server Mods: Our Discord server will eventually need
  • Social Media Promoter: We'll need someone good at marketing to spread the word about this on the web to gain support, both fans and new devs.
  • Video Editors: We'll need someone with good video making skills to help promote the project as well, to give people more visual indicators of what we'll be doing.
